New rules for registered addresses since 1 October 2026
Since 1 October 2026, the revised Anti-Money Laundering Act has been in force in Switzerland. Anyone who professionally provides companies with a registered office or business address is now subject to new due diligence obligations.
For our clients, this means: for every domicile agreement, we verify the identity of the contracting party and establish who the beneficial owners of the company are. To do so, we need some documents when the agreement is concluded. These checks protect everyone involved and the good reputation of Zug as a business location.
